1959 Thunderbird Convertible

This car had a convertible top mechanism that would gather a crowd every time you put the top up or down. When the top is down, it is stored in the trunk so that there is no bulge behind the back seat where a convertible top is normally stored. The 1958-60 T-Bird started a trend in personal luxury cars that is still with us today.
