My 2007 Civic has rear tires are worn and unsafe after less than 8000 miles!!!!!! That is with one person in the vehicle and 150 lbs in the trunk! I drive 600 miles per week.

Honda cannot and will not adjust the alignment nor replace the tires. This means that Honda is selling a four passenger vehicle that cannot safely carry four adult passengers, let alone luggage.

I have no such trouble with my '02 Civic with 190,000 miles on it.

Why can a manufacturer get away with not having standard adjustments for "real world" driving conditions? Shame on the engineer who designed the rear suspension and the manager who approved it!!

I would take it to an independently operated shop specializing in suspension work and get a second opinion, even if you have to pay for an evaluation. You don't have to use them for the work, but it could give you some additional knowledge or even leverage to negotiate with the Honda dealer.

I absolutely love my car. I went from owning a Dodge Stealth to a mini civic. Turns out i love the cheap car. I can't complain with the gas mileage, nothing has gone wrong with it! not to mention its fun to drive with a five speed. i put on about 600 miles a week. i've owned this car for a year and put on about 30,000 miles! My friends are so jealous they say it runs on a Hami(over the hedge) instead of a hemi. We run around town yelling to ppl its a 95 honda .. how dare u. Got to say its a fun car

I would probably go for a New Car or a Used Car.
