This is the second Accord I have purchased and the fourth Honda we have owned. Obviously, I like Hondas. However, I HATE this car! The car feels as if it is being pulled to the left and right. I brought it back twice and was told the problem does not exist. That is funny, because I drove 112,000 miles in my 2003 Accord on the same roads without that problem. I drove my wife's Civic, my Corvette, my step-father's Volvo and two rental cars on the same roads without the problem. The pickup for the 4cylinder is disappointing. I miss my 2003 manual, 4 cylinder. On the bright side, noise has been reduced, both while driving and when the window is open.

We just bought the 2008 Accord Coupe and the road noise and gas mileage is awful. Honda should have researched this more before putting into production. Overall, we love the new look and interior and overall appearance.

I love how this car looks. WIth the exception of the lights. The front is aggressive but the back lights don't fit. I had a chance to take a test drive in one and boy was it quiet and smooth. If I could afford it, I would buy an EX-L 4 cylinder sedan with a manual transmission and no navigation. Beautiful car. Nice job Honda.

Probably one of the best kept secrets at Honda is the Accord SE. Here we find a 4 cylinder mid sized car that really performs. We had a chance to take a 5 speed for a road trip and we got better than 40 miles to the gallon. Not too shabby for very roomy mid sized car! Honda seems to be focusing marketing on the Hybrid and the 6 cyl models ... which makes us wonder why they are keeping the SE so low key. It would seem to us that many economy conscious families would want more room and better mileage ... but then what do we know about selling cars ? We are just an average American family from Minnesota

I've been driving Accords since the 1.6 (84). I see my latest EX-L V6 (Navi) poised as competition for a different "upmarket" category in the future. So the styling is perfectly appropriate. The Saturn Ion comparison in my opinion is off by a country mile. I've never had a bad one yet but encountered many disgustingly poor sales people and less than worthy sevice departments. In each case Honda came to the rescue. I "gottogo", I have to pickup some milk at a store 100 kms away.

I love the look of the new Accord (except the back). I had a chance to take a test drive in a 4 cylinder LX-P, and what a car. The engine was smooth, responsive, and quiet, the transmission was responsive. There was almost no wind noise, tire noise and road noise. I got back into my mom's car afterwards (1998 Honda Accord LX) and could immediately feel and hear the difference. Although epa estimates are high, up to 31 mpg on the highway, the guy who took us out says that you can expect to average around 21 mpg. Nowadays, that is about average. Overall a homerun for Honda.

If you were to remove the emblems from this 08 Accord, and ask 10 people, I am sure most would think it was something from the GM stable than a Honda. Why on earth did the Honda designers go to the Saturn Ion for inspiration? There is nothing Accordness about this Accord until you step inside the car. Honestly, I can 't see this 08 Accord doing well against the revised Camry with its 6 speed on one side and the Altima on the other. As an owner of a previous generation Accord, I am disappointed.

Mmm. Sorry but to me it looks like a sharp edged copy of the unfortunate looking BMW 5 series. There doesn't seem to be any "Hondaness" to it at all. Every marque seems to have a heyday where their styling gels into a handsome and recognizable form and Honda are now past theirs.

The new Accord 4 door sedan is not a bad looking car, but I'm pretty surprised that it's not a slicker looking one. They surprised everybody with the current modern and stylish Civic; I feel they've missed an opportunity to repeat that splash with the new Accord. Of course they'll sell a bundle of them, but will not overtake the stylish and still very fresh Camry -- not in that wrapper. Sorry to say that the stylistic grooves on the side panels remind me of the old Saturn Ion! :^( But good luck to Honda, an excellent and innovative contributor to the automotive world.
